The Yorkville Village project (formerly Hazelton Lanes) is a multi-phased redevelopment and renovation of an urban shopping center located in downtown Toronto, Ontario. The development was comprised of several discrete projects and construction phases including a full upgrade of the mechanical systems, complete re-design of the interior layout and feature skylight, new entry and façade replacement along Avenue Road, and the introduction of a new mall entrance with Yorkville Avenue frontage. Yorkville Village is home to high-end luxury retail brands, restaurants, galleries, and markets.
While at Kasian Architecture, Ashley Biren was a Designer responsible for developing this project from conceptual design to the beginning of the construction documentation phase. Ashley played a key member of the production team for site plan approval packages, construction drawings, and building permits.
